We want to prove that it is possible to make the best quality products, but in a completely different way.
Where does the inspiration for our designs come from?
Nature is definitely our greatest inspiration.
It can be hard to imagine what can inspire the design for a pair of sunglasses there being so much variety of models. But in our case in particular, the design goes beyond inventing new things, because it is necessary to observe and learn from the beauty of other things. That is why we observe our planet, because nature is the best teacher and inventor.
Working with our state-of-the-art design team, we have learned from the natural elements to fit the design into the lifestyle we live as outdoor enthusiasts.
This is how we observe the whales that inhabit our Patagonian seas to create the Ocean Collection, inspired by the two different marine currents that exist, which when they converge generate an innumerable biodiversity of species.
The great Frank whale and it’s curves inspired our Kayu model.
The native Fin whale gave life to our Newen model.
The Minke whale inspired the shape for our Yuco model.
In the case of our Wood Collection, the inspiration came from the different geographic elements of Chile. In the south of our country we observe the south, the Puelo River and its waters or the Torres del Paine mountains in Patagonia and its trees like the Coihue, while up north we admire the valleys and deserts of the “Salar de Tara”.
Landscapes that helped us draw the lines that gave shape to this new eyewear and that have shaped our way of looking at the world, inspiring us to transmit this vision through our products.
